Summer of 2022

We took the time to hang out with each other this summer. We rode cars, play lazar tag, and mini-golf. Totally worth it.

Do not let this blog Die

Well fans,

Its been over a year since any one of us posted something, so I will start. Though Mom is gone (and will always be missed) I still work at Nielsen and am about to celebrate 14 years of marriage. The kids are doing well and Drew has stopped calling me Daddy Bye Bye though he has stuck to me like glue when I am home. Leighton is talking a lot and singing. He has the Bingham voice and sings better then he speaks. Aaron is really helpful around the house but he is chomping at the bit to be 13 himself. He desperately wants to see all the PG-13 movies like Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Bat Man etc. You get the idea. My princess Thacia is doing well. Its weird to see her next to her fellow beehive (she is a head shorter) with her cane but those girls treat her great. She loves the evening activities although its on the same night that Aaron has scouts.

I wish that I was home with the kids more. I would spend a lot more time with  them. Being away from home, its lonely but when I am home its crowding. I need the careful balance. In the mean time I keep looking for a house and job that suits the family.

Shelly and I are doing great. Any want points on marriage can call us. I cant believe that we have done so well being so far apart. I (like I said before) want to be home more so I can see her beautiful face more and more. We have such the best conversations on the phone but it comes with practice. I love her so much and tell her daily.

I hope that all us Binghams' are doing great. Keep the faith and I love you all. Talk to you soon in September.

Nate.

The other Binghams (Nate's Family)

Last few days have been filled with real highs and lows. I have been home for most of the month from grievance and the Salt Lake market. February has been ok. The family as a whole has had sickness run though us like a train but currently we are a healthy bunch.

To give you an update on the lot of us...

Me, I still work for Nielsen and travel across this great country. I look for every moment to be with my wife and kids as possible.

Shelly writes in her journal and is running out of pages. Raising the kids is... (well I better not say its easy or hard, it just is). She has taken up here needle work when I am not at home. She reads a ton and frankly I have taken up some reading too but its just the one novel, The Hidden Symbol by Dan Brown.

Thacia has transferred to the new school that is more accommodating for her disabilities. She loves her school and I have noticed that she really misses her dad but that comes with all the kids but like her brother Leighton, she comes up to me and asks for a hug regularly.

Aaron loves Facebook and if you see me online on my Nathan account (thats the one with the green face) chances are thats Aaron and not me if its between 3 and 8 PM. Aaron is a smart kid and has really taken to online games. Worries us parents as he wants his own accounts and wants to spend a lot of time on the computer. Thank goodness that we instituted a point system for him to earn minutes on the computer and games otherwise he would run a muck.

Leighton (I love his name) has been counting and doing his alphabet and telling us of all the animals he can quickly recognize. He is also potty training and has really tested our patience. He really doesn't want to do it. The fight is on....

Drew has been singing and counting everything. He loves hugs and kisses and he such a cutie. He has this shoe fetish that has gone from boots to shoes in bed to wearing now house shoes (slippers) all the time. From the moment he wakes to the moment he sleeps, its shoes, shoes, shoes.
